What is my desk specification? How strong is it?
It’s designed and manufactured to commercial-grade standards.
We encourage you to use this information as a checklist and compare to the other height-adjustable desks in Australia, so you can make the best decision.

Desk Motors: 2 x Timotion electric motor lifting column (This is the desk engine and the most important part of any great height adjustable desk).
Max loading capacity: 120kg, almost two average size humans.
Controller box: Ti'motion, the brain and the mastermind of your desk. Ti'motion is an industry leading provider of electric lifting columns and control system technology.
Controller function: Four memory height programmable controller. It will remember your desired height, so you don’t have to! You can also change from centimetres to inches.
Speed: Fast, 40mm a second so you don’t have to wait all day for your desk to move into position.
Height Adjustable Range: Minimum height 660mm - Maximum height 1310mm.
Frame Adjustable Range: 1075mm - 1800mm (this is how narrow or wide the desk frame can be adjusted to suit different size desktops).
Leg Orientation: 3 stage, round European design.

Are your desktops eco-friendly? Where are they made?
Yes. All our desktops (excluding bamboo) are designed and manufactured proudly here in Australia. We source our timber from Australia’s best, greenest and most environmentally responsible supplier.
We do our best to decrease the usage of packaging material by supplying you a flat-pack product and contribute back into the environment with our plant a tree program. What is flatpack delivery?
Flat-pack delivery means we deliver your desk safe, secured, sealed and nicely packed with assembly instructions in the box. You get to assemble it yourself DIY style! We believe it’s very simple and fast. This method of shipping reduces your delivery time and shipping costs. This allows us to keep prices low and pass on the savings over to you. If you get stuck for any reason, contact us. We will help you!
Does my desktop arrive pre-drilled?
Yes. Your new desktop will arrive with the holes already pre-drilled for you, which is normally the longest and most complicated part. With pre-drilled holes, it makes assembly easy, fast and accurate so you can start using your desk sooner.
Is your sit and stand desk hard to install?
No, it’s simple. However, we do suggest getting someone else to help you if possible during the installation as the frame and the desk are heavy. Each desk comes with an installation guide and an operations guide.
If you run into any challenges or need assistance, contact us and we will gladly help you. If you would like someone to install the desk for you, give us a call and we will book the installation with one of our team members. This service is valued at a $249.00 and is available at check out to all Brisbane metro customers only.
Will you assemble my desk for me for Free?
Yes, with pleasure. We offer 'Free Assembly & Installation' to handicapped customers or anyone with physical or mental disability. (Brisbane Metro Customers Only) We also offer 'Collect & Get Free Assembly' where we will have your new desk fully assembled for you ready for pick up from our warehouse if you choose to collect your desk. This offer is exclusive to pick up customers only. Just let us know in the process and we will take care of it.
Do you offer custom sizes?
Yes, we do. We have our own woodworking and joinery workshop and we hand-make all our desktops. That’s how we started 25 years ago.
Please measure your space first. Leave a note for us at check out and let us know what size you have in mind. We will contact you to confirm before starting work on your desktop

Do you provide cable management accessories with your desks?
Yes, we certainly do. That’s our difference. We believe in the right tools for the task at hand. From wire and cable management solutions, USB ports, wireless fast chargers, and so much more. Our accessories are manufactured in the highest standards here Australia at a very reasonable price.
Can I upgrade my desk with your accessories at a later stage?
Yes, of course, you can! Change desktops and add new accessories later. Receive updates about new products via email and our socials.

How much weight can your desks support?

How do I adjust the height of my sit/stand desk?
The height is easily adjusted by pressing and holding either the up or down arrow on the display.
Each desk also can be programmed with four of your favourite heights (buttons 1, 2, 3 and 4). This is handy.

I am moving and was thinking of disassembling my desk to make it easier. Can I?
Of course, ensure that all the different parts are properly stored and that nothing will be damaged when transported individually. After moving, be sure to initialise and reset your desk to ensure synchronisation is completed. refer to installation & operations guide.

Do you have a referral program?
It’s difficult to be heard above the noise these days, especially on the web. Our team is doing its best to put our hearts into the products we create, but there are still many people out there who’ve never heard of us.

Shipping
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, we do! All holistic desks orders include a free standard shipping on weekends (Brisbane Metro only 15km radius). All other areas and times are a flat rate of $79.00 Click here for shipping fees.
What are my shipping options?
Upon check-out, you will be asked what shipping method you wish to use. We offer three options:
Pick up in-store: Free and convenient! Simply select this option and we will contact you to schedule a pickup at our Brisbane store. We also offer a free of charge desk assembly service for all pickup customers. This means we can put your desk together for you for FREE if you wish to collect it from our workshop/ warehouse at Yeerongpilly Brisbane, 4105 QLD.
Standard shipping: We will contact you to deliver your new height adjustable desk at your convenience the moment your product is ready to leave our workshop.
Shipping & installation*: If the installation service is added, we will contact you to schedule a delivery and installation date based on your availability.

Where is my desk coming or getting shipped from?
We ship everything from our warehouse in Brisbane. None of our products are shipped from overseas or other locations.
How long will my desk take to arrive?
That depends on where your desk is going! We provide an estimated delivery period of 2-5 business days in Brisbane, 5-7 days in QLD, NSW and VIC, 7 to 12 days in ACT and South Australia and 10-15 business days in Tasmania, WA and NT. Please allow an extra 2-3 days for regional areas. We will also send you a tracking number via email so you can track your package. You can find your order information by searching your email inbox for order and shipping confirmation emails.
What if my order gets damaged while in transport?
Please inspect the boxes upon arrival at your place. If you see any damage on the outer boxes, start by taking pictures before opening the boxes. If the packaging is extensively damaged, do not accept the shipment from the carrier and contact us at 1300 957 938 or hello@holisticdesks.com.au
Please note that the package can be slightly damaged due to handling, it does not, however, mean that the product has any damage since it is well protected inside the packaging.
If you choose to accept the package and find any damages after opening the boxes, do not worry, we will take care of it. Take pictures of the damaged items and send them to us via email at hello@holisticdesks.com.au
How do I track my order?
After we have contacted you to confirm a suitable shipping day, you will receive an email with a tracking number.
Please note that your package may have to pass through a shipment depot or local transport hub and again be shipped with a smaller courier, which may take a few days to process. The tracking information may not be accurately up to date. If you have any concerns, please feel free to contact us. We are here to help and make sure getting your new desk is a stress-free process.
Returns
What is your return policy on your desks?
We’re convinced you’ll love working with your new height adjustable, sit and stand desk, which is why we decided to offer a 15-day no questions asked satisfaction guarantee.
Use your new desk, work on it, play with it, test it, show it to your friends and colleagues… all in the comfort of your home or office for 15 days. If you don’t love it, we’ll take it back and refund 100% of your money.
We fully understand that shopping for a desk online is tricky, this policy is our way of allowing you to try our products without risk. We make it even more easy and convenient than trying it in a store!
*Note that the 15-day satisfaction policy is only applicable to our desks and that custom orders or final sale items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
What’s the return process?
All exchange or refund requests must be sent to hello@holisticdesks.com.au before the end of the 15-day period. Upon your request for a return, we will send you a confirmation email with instructions on how to return your desk.
Warranty
My desk stopped working. Is something wrong?
In most cases, no. You may just have to do a simple reset of your desk. This process takes less than a minute and fixes most desk errors. See our Operations Guide for details. If you need additional assistance, please contact us.
What happens if there's a problem with my desk while under warranty?
Give us a call on 1300 957 938 or email us at hello@holisticdesks.com.au. We’ll figure out the issue with you. We’ll then propose a solution that fits your needs. Most components can be switched individually like our handset, the control box, and the wires. To date, we have not had a single warranty claim. Something we are very proud of.
Maintenance
How can I clean my sit-stand desk?
The best way to clean your adjustable sit-stand desk is to gently rub it with a damp piece of cloth or towel (not soaked). Don’t use any cleaning products to keep the finish of the material intact. Using chemicals can cause erosion and rust and could void your warranty.
Do I need to service my desk?
No! That’s the good news. Just tighten the screws after two weeks of use and make sure they stay tight by checking them a couple of times per year.
